Charles P. Newcomb
Chuck Newcomb joined Banisch Associates as a principal licensed professional planner. At Banisch his primary focus in working with municipalities is assisting them to implement Smart Growth planning techniques and processes in their planning activities. He also represents a number of planning boards and Boards of Adjustment in the review of subdivisions, site plans and variance matters. He also has represented a number of private clients in matters of variances, rezoning and housing certifications in builder’s remedy case. He also serves as a court master in affordable housing cases.
Chuck has served as the Governor's representative to the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, which he chaired for two years, and was a member of the Pinelands Commission from 1982 to 1985. He is a licensed professional planner in New Jersey and a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. He is a graduate of Rutgers University, where he received his Masters degree in City and Regional Planning. |
Joanna Slagle
Ms Slagle has been employed with Banisch Associates since 2001. Her expertise includes knowledge of a variety of computer hardware and software applications, including all current ArcGIS products from Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI). Ms. Slagle has successfully led Banisch Associates, Inc. into the forefront of GIS use in planning studies and plan composition by integrating state of the art computer applications into daily office activities.
Joanna Slagle has been involved in environmental analysis and justice issues since 1996 and regional and environmental planning issues since 1999. Ms. Slagle graduated from York University, Toronto, Canada with a B.E.S in Environmental Studies and graduated with an M.A. from the State University at Buffalo Geography/Urban and Regional Analysis program. She is a certified member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and a licensed Professional Planner in the State of New Jersey. |
